What is the difference between Academic and Commercial versions of software?
In most cases there is no difference in the functionality of the software programme. Academic or Educational software is provided for the purpose of learning and training (i.e. non-commercial use). Some brands will water-mark your work with reference to the Academic nature of the software. Some brands offer an upgrade to commercial option.

How do I qualify for licensing programs?

Do you sell items not listed on your website?
Yes. If something isn't listed, please email sales@softwarewarehouse.co.nz and we will see if we can source it for you.

Do you sell scanners, printers, digital cameras etc...?
Yes. We supply all major brands such as HP, Canon, Epson, Musket, Kodak, Fuji, Sony. Please email sales@softwarewarehouse.co.nz or phone us on 0800 849 268 with your requirements.

Do you accept returns?
Yes we accept returns if the product is faulty. Before you return anything to us please contact us first to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) Number from us. Visit our terms and conditions for more details about this.

Order Information

Is the cost of delivery included?
Yes - we provide free courier delivery within New Zealand for orders over $500(exclude GST).

Do you offer student discounts?
Our academic software has already been discounted to give the best price to you. We do offer student discounts on presentation of your Student ID card for computers, scanners, printers and digital cameras.

Can I pick up the goods from you?
No, we will ship the goods to you by Courier.

How long does it take for my software to arrive?
If the item is in stock it's usually couriered overnight. If you have a rural delivery address it may take an extra day or two to arrive. We will let you know if there will be delay in the delivery.

Are you open in the weekend?
You can place an order at anytime via the website or by fax. We can arrange Saturday delivery for most towns and cities.

What happens if I order a product and it is out of stock?
We will advise you of the expected delivery date. You have the right to cancel your order if you do not wish to proceed with the order that this stage.

Security

How safe are my credit card details?
The online order system is securely hosted with Web Drive Limited and using SSL encryption. This will be apparent once you are in the process of "Check Out" - You will then be transferred to the Secure Server.

What is your privacy policy?
We do not disclose any of your details to any third party.

Do you deliver outside of NZ?
Yes, but only by prior arrangement. We do not usually accept credit cards for international sales without extra precautions against fraud.
